Debt Management Plan
Get back in control of your finances. Reduce all your payments to an amount you can afford. A single monthly amount covering all your debts to make budgeting easier.
Individual Voluntary Arrangement
Reduce all your unsecured debt payments to a single affordable amount. Plan lasts 5-6 years. At the end of the agreement outstanding debt is written off.
Debt Relief Order
Write off debt you can’t afford to pay. Lasts just 12 months and does not require you to make any further payments towards your debts. Free to implement but only available if you meet strict acceptance criteria.
Bankruptcy
All your unsecured debt written off including utility arrears and tax owed to HMRC. No monthly payments unless you can afford them (if so payments only last 3 years). Property might be at risk so may not be suitable for homeowners.
